The Ontario Horse Show Classic date
August 8 - 9th, 2026

In 1968, the Ontario Morgan Horse Club began holding annual shows called field days. This developed into the Ontario Morgan Horse Championship Classic, a fancy name, but the same quality show with lots of fun and variety for everyone. Countless people have worked over the years to make this show successful, and the current committee is just as dedicated and working hard to make this the best show yet.
Then we evolved into the Ontario Show Horse Classic, a mixed Breed affair. But the evolution continues and we now offer both The Classic (for Morgans, Arabs, Saddlebreds, Hackneys and Open) and the Morgan Fall Festival (Morgans and Open).
As the biggest promotion our Club does, we need everyone’s help to bring it together successfully, so we need your support. We need every Morgan lover to support the shows and here are some ways to do that.
- Enter and show your Morgans. We have a range of classes and divisions to suit everyone.
- Come to the show to cheer on the brave souls who are showing, renew acquaintances and see our beautiful breed in action.
- Contribute financially by sponsoring some classes or advertise in the show program. Major funds are needed to keep everything viable and make sure there will continue to be shows in the future to promote the breed. If you are unable to sponsor or advertise, ask your feed dealer, boarding stable or other business for a sponsorship.
